Now that’s what I call gardening weather!

Published on May 14, 2012, by in Diary.

After a few weeks of miserable weather we had lots of glorious sunshine return to the gardens of West Devon this weekend.

I’ve been busy planting out broad beans – with thanks to Justin – and peas and cauliflowers that I’ve managed to grow myself in the greenhouse – that’s a first for me. I picked up the pea sticks in Eworthy – they’re very rustic but I think they work well.

I’ve tried to net up the cauliflowers to stop the butterflies getting at them but I’m worried the slugs will find them soon enough anyway.
